Few random thots ::

1) CORS screwed up at the recent balloting for tutorials. And some students started an online petition, hoping CORS will retune their system. Personally I feel very upset about the system too because it's really wasting our time. Unless the admin comes up with a better server, which essentially means spend more money on the server, many of us are just going to feel unfair and cheated in a way. We pay so much school fees, and yet we can't get a better server which serves the entire university? Hmm....Food for thought here huh...

2)Harry Potter and the Globet of Fire movie is coming out in November 2005! I saw the trailer already and oh boy, it's GOOD! So much more exciting, nicer scenes and darker story plot. Good! I don't care what others say about Rowling's 6th book, I just feel that to be able to invent this whole new world of magic and fantasy requires so much from a person. Rowling is one hell of a talented person. (= I admire her deep from my heart. I have read a blog where one belittles the 6th book, and I just want to say this: if you think you can write better than her, and sell better than her, go ahead and prove your worth. If not, better start appreciating others' efforts and enjoy reading her stories.
