Telematch @ NUS

Yesterday was a great day of fun and sports at NUS! I even got myself an uneven tan! Haha. IN the morning, all the freshies gathered at the Sports and Recreation Centre for a day of sports activities. under the enthusiastically hot sun, we set off to different stations situated in the field. OUt of 8 stations, we won 6! That's a great morale booster to my OG and all of us definitely became much closer. There was this station where we had to pass slices of orange using our mouths only and the last person had to squeeze the juice out using his knees. That was probably the most disgusting thing in the morning games but little did we know that more disgusting games are waiting for us in the afternoon Rush Hour!

In the Rush Hour, we had to finish as many games as possible within an hour. The two most disgusting stations that we went to were this apple game and this sandwich making station. For the apple game, each of us have to dip our WHOLE head into a pail of water which looked seriously dirty, and try to bite a piece of the apple inside. I managed a bite after several attempts, when i finally dared to submerge my head underwater. Yucky.... The sandwich making one was the worst. The objective of the game was to make a sandwich by passing the ingredients by mouth or cheek or forehead. As i was the first in line, i had the 'freshest' ingredients. But the station I/C was so bad! He smeared so much mayoniese on my cheek (which i had to pass to my group members) that my hair and face smelled like a rotten egg mayo sandwich! We also had to pass a whole egg and a fishball using our mouths! 0_o

After that, we had to serenade a few of the senior comm members to persuade them to give us red ribbons which are bonus points. A group member brought his guitar and we sang Can't Take My Eyes Off You, with lyrics changed. We sang for our two house I/Cs too... and one of them, the guy, actually cried... So touched...

It was really a fun day for all of us yesterday, so fun that i missed the welcome tea by NUS choir. Haha... Really couldn't get away in the midst of the Rush Hour... Later will be the Orientation Night Finale. Hope everything ends well!
