American Idol yesterday was fun! With Gloria Estefan as the guest judge, singers did beautiful renditions of her famous latin pop numbers!

My faves are La Toya, Diana DeGarmo and Fantasia. All of them sang authentic latin pop and they even danced, complete with high silettos and beautiful dresses! (though Diana's dress was a lil ahem, raggy). But i think these 3 ladies brought out the real flavour of the song and did a really wonderful performance! Kudos to them! However i feel Fantasia was sitting out of the key...but nonetheless she was a FANTASTIC performer last nite. :)

Hmm, that leaves John, George and Jasmine... Jasmine sang like the usual, so it was getting quite boring. *yawn* John just cant do Latin pop. And fyi he din even sang latin pop. It was some soulful song yet again. Boring. George, he was fun, but technically i've to admit he isn't that good.

haiz i've received my dip exam date: 22nd June 2004 1040AM @ Takashimaya Kawai. i really gave a sigh of relief (quite loudly) when i saw this date as this means i'm left with a lil less than 2 months to practise. Which im grateful about.

Hey, all my choirmates out there, who's interested in watching the HCJChoir concert and ACJChoir concert with me? Besides going/performing for the TJCHOIR CONCERT-REFLECTIONS V The Next Step. Haha. Both concerts will be at the Esplanade, so naturally the ticket price is abit steep. Well, if nobody's going with me, i dun mind going alone actually. one must learn how to live independently emotionally, physically and mentally to prevent unnecessary pain and hurt. :)
