Wow.

I went to NUS Open House today. It was simply overwhelming. The whole campus is flooded with people, people, and more people!!! i reached there in the afternoon, but it was still very crowded... i met alot of people from my pri sch all the way to tjc. haha. Hmm...i was quite lost as in where to go, so i went into a hall full of cca booths with my fren. that was a terrible mistake. Firstly, there were simply so many people that i couldn't get a good look at the different stalls, thus, it was a wasted trip in there. When i realise that, i tried to get out but i cant cuz there were simply too many people! haha... i was so dizzy in there... but guess who i met? KAIJIE! hehehe...so long nv see her. U look good with ur new haircut dear!! :)

After that i went to the exhibition hall to take a look at the FASS booth... ok...turned out to be quite not bad larh. at least there were people there to cater to your queries n stuff lidat. but i don't know what i don't know, so i don't know wat to ask. Hmph. i met richard n his fren Jian yang, and den Xiaohan... so the 4 of us went for the FASS fac blk tour together. that's where n when i got my confusion cleared abt the bidding system in NUS. haha. it's v intriguing larh. i guess i've to get into the faculty first b4 i can really understand the whole system. But i know more abt the courses im going to expect in NUS now.

It turns out that we gotta study 5 modules per semester, and u gotta bid for these 5 modules. Besides doing modules from ur major, u gotta do other modules from different divisions, ie different subjects like languages or sociology, psychology, econs etc. In this way we achieve a broad based education. WE get to learn alot more things. That's wat i like about FASS in NUS larh. Haha. since i've decided to make geog my major, i gotta achieve 56 out of 120 MCs for geog. the rest can be frm other subjects n modules. fun isn't it? =P But bidding can be a lil tricky cuz u may not get the modules u want, they may put u into modules that u din think it's interesting or easy... yeah. that's the whole idea larh.

i also went to find out a little about Architecture. ( cuz Jared was asking about it n he was there talking to this senior... ) it's actually a very interesting n creative subject to take. After all it involves alot of design work... which im interested in. But it's alot more stressful n u got to study 5 years, including Honours. scary. Haha. Actually i went for the Biz talk too, but it was very boring... hAiz. So actually i don't have much to take home frm NUS today. But at least i've decided on what im going to take n im pretty excited abt it. That's enough for me... :)

After NUS Xiaohan n i went for dinner together. We had a very long chat n i thoroughly enjoy chatting with her... it makes me think better n sometimes clear some of my doubts that i've myself. I am glad when i know what i say can help people. :)

Busy saturday... *yawn* still gotta go for Jap class tmR. hehe. and i havent do my homework yet. :X
